Installation

This caddy supports 2 different types of hard disks, the SATA and IDE and is supplied with cables for both as they require different connectors.

If your Hard disk is IDE then you do not require the SATA cables, which is the red one with the black plug at either end or the cable with 4 wires and a white plug and black plug.

If your Hard disk is SATA then you do not require the IDE cables, which are the one’s connected by default, unplug these and plug the SATA cables to the board.

The pins on the hard disk that you use to set the hard disk to master does not require a cable.

If you put the case over the enclosure and plug the USB cable into your PC and connect the power cable to a plug, your PC should then recognise the caddy.
